Yeah they needed this. Also, it's good that they could replace Pache with this Rojas kid. He looks like he could provide the defense in the outfield that they lost when Pache went down.

Agree or disagree here? This would definitely be a rental. Will likely cost you something like McGarry, Abel, Crawford (1st round pick last year)/ or kid they just drafted 1B/3B HS player, plus Rojas who they just called up from AA. That would be 4 of their top 10 prospects in the system but no Painter.

Are u in? You think this puts them above the heap and able to win? You fix your number 1-2 starter and you get another power bat for OF. Schwarber DH, Harper plays 1B to end season. He is going to sign with Dodgers or at least West Coast.

Nah, you can't go all in if you're only getting him for the rest of this season. They are most likely too far behind the Braves to win the division so the playoffs are going to be a crapshoot.

ON the other hand, none of those guys have proven anything so......

But I wouldn't do it for a rental.

Went to shit defensively after that, but they held on.

I'm liking our chances overall. Stott and Bohm really round out the lineup.
