I'm being dead serious now. We don't know that Rose always bet to win since he agreed to be banned from baseball for life provided that the Dowd report ended.

KK's off to a good start after 0ne whole inning.

Mayberry puts one out of the park and the Phils strike first. Asche has quietly gone into a hitting slump as he strikes out again and Sizemore has become a very hot hitter. Go figure.

Koyie Hill is catching today and gets a nice base hit to leave the side to KK.

This is typical KK. Like Burnett, it takes both of them at least to the fourth inning to get going and they give up runs because of it. It has happened again as he just gave up a deep HR and the Braves lead 2-1. I don't know why but they seem to have to give up runs to really get heated up even though KK did not throw is typical 30-pitch first inning today.
