Why? Avery is a Pussy! He picks out the weakest gazelle from the herd and attacks. TK is 160 lbs., soaking wet. Not to mention, he's what... 5'8"!? What a badass:tsk:

I'd like to see that piece of trash pick a fight with say, Adams or Asham. He doesn't have the stones to throw down with that, though.

Tale of the Tape:

Tyler Kennedy: 5'11'', 183 Lbs.
Sean Avery: 5'10", 195 Lbs.

Pretty even.

On another note, what is wrong with Michalek, now? Godammit!! They finally get all their forwards back, and now they're down two on the blue-line

Pens lost that game on their own. If they didn't give a friggin 10 min PP (5on3's and multiple minors) to the Rangers at the end they def woulda brought that into OT.

They are pretty even from a size standpoint, closer than I thought. As far as TK being a serious fighter in the NHL, well.. he's not. I still stand by my point that Avery picks out the weakest link so as to save himself any further embarrassment.

For the Pens blowing that game, they put themselves in a rather large hole in the second period after they managed a 1-0 lead. It was nice to see them rally at the end, but it shouldn't have come to that. Z is a big part of the Pens special teams, as is Letang. They missed both of them last night.

I'm 100% sure they'd bring that game to OT if they hadn't been complete idiots at the end with those penalties. On the Avery/TK fight, don't underestimate TK's fighting abilities, he's a scrappy fella. The fights weren't that bad, TK threw more punches and Avery just tackled him.

It might have happened, they didn't help their cause by taking unnecessary penalties. I was more disappointed in them blowing a lead by giving up four unanswered goals. The game was theirs for the taking, but they allowed NY to get back in it. I really don't like how they handle games where they have a lead. It almost seems like they're more dangerous playing from behind, but you don't want to be a team that's always scrambling at the end to get back in it. Continuity in the lineup might help to break that up a bit.

And avery is a twerp.

Thats all the Pens are good for... Making a ruckus. Big Bad Bruins are going to devour you.

It's not the loud ruckus it used to be. Consol isn't near as loud as it was in The Igloo. The loudest I have heard it in four visits at the new building was my last game against Dallas. When Cooke scored his penalty shot, the building was buzzing. There isn't a bad seat in the place. At the old barn, obstructed views were typical in the cheap seats, but not at the palace across the street.
