From what I have read on the comments attributed to O'Brien it sounds like the Penn State job is a miserable experience and sanctions are only part of the issue. The rumors about cult like behavior evidently didn't go away with Jopa's death so this job maybe a black hole. Unless they were going to give me an extremely large deal with total control (ie Saban's contract) I wouldn't touch it.

Problem is the Board of Trustees at PSU. That ethically corrupt organization is still filled with Joepologists who want the cult to continue for maximum financial gain and all are major insiders of the Pennsylvania political and corporate system.
