She's easy to dislike, but props to her for being the 1st UFC female champion.
Pretty much paved the way for what was to come.

A lot like the early days of UFC.
One style had success early on and then it pretty much evolved into better athletes wielding mixed styles to have success.

I think the more likely result of all this is the fame got to Rouseys head and she didn't train like she should've.

Its not a weird take. She refused to fight another fighter and got destroyed in the last 2 she fought. Fact remains she would be nothing today. Only one in the top 5 or so she would have a chance against is Pennington.

And if they made arm bars illegal she would have no chance against anyone in the top 15.
