You made the thread to make your "Pats are winning in spite of Brady and if they fail to win the title it will be his fault " line...it's boring and intellectually dishonest.

Never even considered that but I find it insightful that you did!

For a lot of other teams, all you have to do is solve the defense or offense and then the field is a lot more level.
If it were that easy everyone would do it. Simply solving top flight offenses and defenses isn't so simple.

I like the seahawks chances but what do they do when they play another team that either has a stout defense or can put up 25-30 on them? I don't think anyone sees them as an offensive powerhouse.
They have played several teams with top flight defenses. Just played one yesterday. As for teams that can hang 25 on them, the only times that has happened recently is when they have had injuries they weren't able to overcome. They have given up 25 or more only 3 times this year (none over 30) and one of those 3 took some crazy special teams stuff to do it. They simply don't give up that much to anyone.

Seattle D struggles against teams with dominant tight ends: San Diego, Atlanta in the playoffs a couple of years ago.

Gronkowski will be a huge problem.

You mean teams with dominant TEs like New Orleans, Denver, and San Francisco?

B) Was the SB played last night and they won? if not y this thread?

Just saying

So, to recap...

They're at the very top of every single power ranking going into Week 16.

But you'd prefer that we not discuss it? Help me out here. :noidea:

Ohhhh, wait! We only talk about it if YOUR team is #1? Is that it?

I would say that there is a strong argument that the Patriots are the best team in football. IMO, there are 4 teams that could make that argument. New England, Denver, Seattle and Green Bay. I would be surprised if one of those teams doesn't win the Super Bowl.

Most of the power polls don't come out until tomorrow.

Have to agree with this...hard to see anybody else but hey come playoffs it gets a bit crazy. I mean who would have thought Baltimore would win it a couple of years ago or the 2 times the Giants won it recently? So while those 4 are definitely most likely I could see a team like Detroit who has a great defense make a bit of noise or on the AFC side maybe Baltimore who has a veteran team that knows how to win in the playoffs.

Who's doing that?! :noidea: Heading into Week 16, they are atop the power polls, nothing more. You're reading way too much into this.

I'm not buying into Denver at all and not too impressed with Seattle either.

No one is...the OP made it as a bait thread so he can say Brady sucks. No Pats fan or none is saying that.

For the record in the topic. If they get home field I'll be surprised if they don't at least make the SB. The way Manning is throwing the ball right now I highly doubt he comes up here and post the 31 plus points he will need to win.

In the SB I think they will handle everyone but GB and Sea. That being said I think little chance anyone but one of those two make it.

I think Pats have a better chance beating GB than Sea. The Hawks DBs will give Brady and the WRs fits. If Pats win the SB vs Sea Gronk will likely be MVP.

Until they meet a dominant defense.

Go play in the NFC West.

Better work on blocking and protecting the QB in the pocket.

Leave it to me to attract a not-so-secret admirer that's a complete dimwit. :L

Doesn't matter what I say, dimwit has a conspiracy theory involving Tom Brady.
