They're at the very top of every single power ranking going into Week 16.

First round bye.

Homefield throughout.

Lombardi goes thru Foxboro.

11 division titles in 12 years with nothing to show for it.

Give me one good reason why these guys don't win it all this year. :noidea:

Patriots D is more than capable of stopping Seattle.

Holy shit, I can't wait to see what happens this year.

Seattle is more than capable of stopping Brady too. Not that I think there's a high probability both teams are in the big show, but NE doesn't face the kinds of defenses everyone else in the NFC does. They faced an OK Detroit defense and a decent GB defense. Who else have they seen all year? :noidea:

Denver is ranked 4th in total defense this year. Buffalo is 5th, Jets are 6th, Dolphins 7th, Chiefs 8th, Chargers 9th. So I guess you could say they have played the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th ranked defense at different times this year.

The bills have a good D. Dolphins, I thought, had a good D until Sunday.

And Denver could have made similar arguments going into last year's SB (and they did if you recall. Endless posts by fans telling us how well their offense plays against top D's). How'd that work out?

You can't compare any of those to what the top 2-3 defenses do. You simply can't.

Hmm,......maybe the best road team (NFC/Dallas) might enjoy a trip to Seattle
......and knock Seattle out in the playoffs..?!

To which I counter with "how about their top-rated offense that keeps winning despite Tom Brady leading the league in off-target passes and TDs (to the other team)?"

Reverse physiology eh? Look, there is no Pats fans crowning the champions, except maybe Southie, and she's entitled to her opinion. Hell, I'm not even thinking of the playoffs right now. I'm thinking of the potentially dangerous Jets team at New Jersey this week, that always play them tough. But go on and continue to act like Pats fans are on here strutting our stuff.

Who do you consider the top 2-3 defenses then right now in the NFL that I can't compare those groups to?

Seattle D struggles against teams with dominant tight ends: San Diego, Atlanta in the playoffs a couple of years ago.

Gronkowski will be a huge problem.
