Looking at James White he's shifty. Maybe he can fill Vereen's shoes? I know it's early and the first pre-season game. But The lack of a 3rd down back has been my biggest concern this offseason. Let's all hope.

The 4th string O-linemen will be packing their bags so there is no need to waste time talking about them.

Not really much to see tonight beyond tryouts for 2nd and 3rd string jobs. Probably won't be much different next week either.

With GB being so highly-rated, I thought the Pat's rehashed D did well ... there was some impressive coverage in the secondary ...

Offense was sporadic with Garappolo getting settled in the 3rd ...

That really wasn't the offense out there. No Gronk, Amendola, Edelman, Lafell, rookie line. I'm not worried in the least the O will be at the top of many catagories this year. What's the prognosis on Chandler? Anyone hearing anything? Was he at the game?

The 1st qtrs of preseason are pretty much the first-team plays not necessarily the personnel ... it's mostly getting coordination between the players and staff ... I watch the coordinators as much as the players ... the 2nd qtr is when they usually tryout the individual players putting them in more specific match ups as preseason continues ... This game went ok but I just question the worth of having Garappolo in with the OL that they had at the end ...

SO...missed the game. Blacked out on every market for DirectTV. Glad it was only preseason....but.

How did Mason and Jackson play? I now Jimmy got taken down 7x, but were those guys in there? Think the OL will be OK once we get Stork, Solder, Volly back?
