The Middle of Everywhere: NWI
We've already seen the old mid-00's rivalry rekindle itself a bit earlier in the season with the scuffle between Paul George and Marcus Morris.
If the Pacers hang onto their spot, it's a true testament to Paul George. Obviously he's not LeBron, but he's put this team on his back this year.
If Detroit is going to scratch their seven-year itch and return to the Playoffs (they haven't made it since 2009), I think Stan Van Gundy should be among the top candidates for Coach of the Year along with Popovich and Brad Stevens. I was not a fan of the Tobias Harris trade for them, but they've been able to make the most of it.
