I see LF being a better defensive fit for him, 1B would be most ideal actually, but Guzman puts a kink in that bc he's only going to be a 1B period

And again, I've got no problem with playing this young man damn near indefinitely to see what's what.

I look less at his results and more at his approach,

He seems to have a good approach and is focused more on being a good hitter versus being a power hitter, so I see him being be able to start catching some breaks soon

I see a Andrus type progression for him with a lot more power to start out with and less infield hits

I do like his approach not an all or nothing but lately he seems to not recognize pitches as easily. Great defense and has a future here unless traded which is why said Maz could play 1B a couple years from now

I am in complete agreement with this. I think that is Gallo's spot to grow into and now is as good a time as any.

Agree Nightcrawler - IKF never looks over matched at the plate. Stays within himself.
