100% of the blame for that pick goes on Trubisky.
Watch the play again. Tell me that he couldn't have made a better effort to get to the ball, and at least swipe at, and play defense. I didn't say it was his fault, but fuck you and your "100%" bullshit. Fucking pretentious windbag.

Yeah, if you think AR could have stopped and come back on that ball. Go outside, sprint 40-50 yards as fast as you can, stop on a dime and jump backwards towards the way you came in a grand total of a split second.

It's just not reasonable. He was full steam in the polar opposite direction. You'll see WR's make good defensive plays, but usually on post, slant or dig routes when you're a bit more parallel to the DB looking back to the QB. OR... when the QB puts more air under it. Which Trubisky put none and also cut into AR's possible reaction time.

I didn't think the tipped INT was bad. That stuff happens and it appeared he would have hit Miller for a 10 yard gain or so. That INT, though? Not good. The Gabriel miss, that INT and the 3rd & goal end zone rocket ball were really the three only poor throws. However, they were rather glaring. Hopefully he cleans it up.
Yeah, cause us going outside and running routes proves anything.

It's an analogy... I didn't actually expect you to go outside and run go routes through the Vegas desert, Pistol. lol

From a physiological standpoint - I guess I just don't get how you can jump backwards in the direction you are sprinting full speed away from. That's all I'm saying over here.

Anyway...

Yea, Arizona is our next opponent. Nice draw in week 3 as we're continuing to try to get Mitch up and running.

If i'm Arizona, i play Bradford again, give him the dreaded vote of confidence, then let him get killed by our D line and then use that as their jumping off point to say "Rosen is our guy now" like it'll actually make a difference.

Arizona has been outscored 58-6 in the first two weeks. With the Bears' defense, Chicago wins this game 10-3

between the cardinal putrid offense and the bears impressive defense, i will go ahead and say the bears defense has a good chance to outscore the cards offense.

They're talking about scaling back the playbook a lot this week for Bradford.

I just get weary when people start talking about sure things in the NFL with certain match-ups. Teams are never quite as bad, or as good as you think in this league. Will they put up 20? I'd be shocked. However, hanging in a 17-13 or 21-16 game and we have to sweat at the end? It wouldn't be a surprise to me.

For instance, Vegas has us only as 4 point favorites.

3 for home field to them and they're saying we're 7 point favorites.

We should win, but you're not wrong. A young team can't walk in there and play like they already won.

No doubt.

And on the same token to what you guys are saying... I would not be shocked if we just obliterated them either. I haven't actually watched them. It's possible that if I did, they'd look so bad that I'd immediately feel confident in a 24-0/31-0 victory. Similar losses to the ones they just suffered.

The only way we lose is if Trubisky does what he's been doing best so far this year and throw picks like nobody's business. --which is unfortunately very possible.

He's thrown 2 INT's (which puts him exactly in the middle of the league) and had 0 INT's in 1 of our 2 games...? Hardly "nobodies business"

One real pick. A few more that could have been. I don't count tipped balls as int.s on the QB.

I still say 2 is fair... the one into the end zone "should have" been picked. It evens out.

The endzone throw was the only throw he's made this year that bothered me. That and the overthrow to Gabriel.

Actually, the overthrow and the underthrow INT were the only two "bothersome" throws to me. I get and can respect the end zone throw from a young, inexperienced QB. He made a really nice escape and was trying too hard to make a play. He learned his lesson there, IMO. I'll only be pissed now if he repeats that type of throw.

It was by far his worst throw and decision combination so far.
