1/9 recap Part 1- Top 25

I've been having troubles with a cold since Thursday. In fact, right now my voice is a little quiet and my right ear is ringing right now. But I'm still here, and here's what happened yesterday in the CBB ranks:

Oklahoma over Kansas State 86-76
Maryland over Wisconsin 63-60
Georgia Tech over Virginia 68-64

North Carolina over Syracuse 84-73
USC over Arizona 103-101 in 4-OT's (Glee! First we get a 3-OT game on Monday, then Southern Cal grabs a BIG 4-OT win. Are we lucky or what?)
Baylor over Iowa State 94-89
Duke over Virginia Tech 82-58
Texas A&M over Tennessee 94-89
South Carolina over Vanderbilt 69-65
UConn over Memphis 81-78
Pittsburgh over Notre Dame 86-82

1/12 recap

Yesterday, we saw #1 Kansas losing to West Virginia, and #3 Maryland losing to Michigan. How big were those wins?

Honestly, I don't know. I mean, both Michigan and West Virginia have been good teams BEFORE these games, so I guess we'll have to see how all 4 teams rebound from these games.
Oh, and here's what else happened yesterday:

Virginia over Miami 66-58
Providence over Creighton 50-48

Kentucky over Mississippi State 80-74
Texas A&M over Florida 71-68
Texas over Iowa State 94-91 in OT
Northwestern over Wisconsin 70-65 (Great win for the Wildcats!)
Dayton over Davidson 80-74
UNLV over New Mexico 86-74 (This is the first win for interim UNLV coach Todd Simon, who replaces the just-fired Tony Rice.)

USC @ UCLA (11:00)

Rarely do I disagree with you, but your "Game of the Day" is going to be a blowout. If it was Nova @ Marquette you'd have a chance.

I'm going with USC and UCLA as game of the day, even though nobody outside of PAC 12 country will likely be able to watch it (I haven't checked to see if it's on TV or not, just assuming)
