Taint gonna happen!

Warriors in 6

I can't see it Vita. What's Cleveland won.. 6-7 in a row? We'll see.. If i'm Cleveland, I'm putting Steph Curry on the ground every chance I get. Time to get physical.

ANY TEAM that made the playoffs in the West would have either swept the Hawks or would have won it in 6.

Cleveland has to win at least one game at Golden State, where the Warriors are 46-3 on the season. Warriors in 6.

3 championships ('46 (BAA), '56, '75). 14 more regular season games than the Cavs this year, if you want recent events.

I was born in 1976. So nothing counts before then.

Easy answer is: Neither team has a lot of playoff experience. Except for Lebron and James Jones.

And the Bulls beat Golden St at Golden St this year with no Jimmy Butler. So it's not impossible.

Cavs in 6, maybe 5

1 of only 3 Warriors home losses this year, no Bogut in that game either.

Yeah if the Bulls can beat GS on the road, the Cavs can do it too. The Bulls played physical D which is what the West isn't used to and will see now that a team from the East is playing them. I don't see a team with hardly any playoff experience beating a team with Lebron twice in a row at home after Cleveland has won 6-7 games in a row in the playoffs.

GS is strong. But they don't know what the Finals are like yet and the splash bros don't like physical D.

One of the splash brothers has a concussion and has not been cleared to play yet.

True, but Lebron is the only Cav that gets real playing time with any finals experience. Who's going to check Curry? Kyrie isn't much a defender even when he isn't limping around. I don't see Dellavedova bothering Curry much. Warriors can throw a lot of different defensive looks at Lebron (Iguoadala, Barnes, Draymond Green), should be an interesting series.

Hopefully Klay is cleared to play in game 1; it has been a week, so he should be good to go.

A couple of sticklers Junkie,

  1. Both teams have won 7 of their last 8 playoff games. Yes it is 7 in a row for the Cavs...
  2. That physical D played in the East has only netted 5 Championships in the last 15 seasons or if you will in this Millennium.
  3. 5X NBA Champion & now Warriors HC Steve Kerr disagrees with your take on the Warriors having 'hardly any playoff experience'.

Ask D Rose about Dellvadoobie. And don't tell me D Rose isn't quicker than Steph Curry, because he gave him fits in the game the Bulls won and he blew by everyone the Cavs threw at him. And Kyrie isn't as hurt as you think he is and he's been off almost 2 weeks. Kyrie vs. Steph Curry should be a great match-up.

Barnes and Iguoadala will have to check Lebron. Clay T can't handle Bron - he isn't strong enough and Draymond will get beat off the dribble faster than you can yell DAM SON.

Tristin and Draymond should be a helluva match up. I think Golden St is strong, but I watched them get beat at home while the Bulls Defense was physical and was without Jimmy Butler. So it can be done.

Steve Kerr is the better coach. And He's the only one with Finals experience on Golden St - you are correct sir! ;)

And as far as previous Western champs.. this is Golden St, not San Antonio - WHO played physical D as well.

BAM!!!

I want to see the Cavs win, but I'm leaning towards GS in 5 if Thompson is cleared, 6 if he misses the first game. Warriors are a much more physical team than people give them credit for with Barnes, Bogut, Green, Iguodala and Speights. They're a deeper team, better defensive team and have the best shooters.

If Lebron can somehow will the Cavs to a title, it has to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, post season performance in NBA history.
