I hope they announce a day & time for the week 17 matchup against the Cardinals. I'm trying to be off work that day so I can watch it. Some have alluded to it being a Saturday game. I hope they announce soon.

Limmer was one of those finds that was the same thought they had for Logan Bruss. Bruss never materialized. Limmer was the diamond and he reminds me of a long history of good-to-great Centers like Ken Iman, Doug Smith, and John Sullivan. He will be the LA Center for the next decade barring injury.

The same people that found Limmer, also found Dedich right there in LA at USC because the former D-Line coach Hendrickson is at USC and he was screaming for the Rams to sign Dedich. The signing of both players made their Jonah Jackson move a complete and utter failure and everybody knows it.

Snead and McVay are both slow learners when it comes to the draft and historically, they have been incredibly bad like the 2019 Draft, where 5 years later, there is not one player on the present-day Roster from that draft.

What did happen after the Snooperbowl in 2021 is the Limp Biscuit (uncharacteristically) stepped-in and demanded that the scouting department be revamped. The Rams brought in some fresh youngsters in that department and the Drafts have slowly been getting better, slowly. The other thing that happened is they were instructed (source unknown) to stop throwing away First Round Draft Picks and big contracts orchestrated by that idiot Kevin Demoff were extinguished. It paid off with the selection of Verse this year and again in the later rounds to select Fiske.

With both changes, the Rams found Limmer and Dedich who will be with the team going forward. So will people like Nacua, Lake, Verse, Fiske, McCollough, Whittington, Turner, Brown, and McDermott.

Having stated that, Snead and McVay now need to get better at FA because they both bit-the-hog-in-the-ass with the Jackson and White signings when they were advised to not sign those two players. Parkinson is going to work out and D. Williams is beginning to come through.

Now they will again have to focus on the ILB position in the draft because it remains a glaring weakness even though Rozeboom is player much better that he did when he was next to Reeder.

I have to admit that this year's team may be McVay's best coaching experience yet even with having to bring a host of new coaches that were poached as well a nearly brand new roster that has really responded. He has done a remarkable job if the Rams win the NFC West and get the Third seed in the playoffs.

We shall see.
I think a big part of the scouting can be directly associated with Brad Holmes departure.

And seeing the Lions drafts since he’s been there, it’s not hard to see what a loss he was and very difficult to replace.

The last two years, you can argue the Rams have had the best drafts.

Yep, I agree

But the first couple without Holmes were rough, a reflection of how much he meant to the scouting department, especially coupled with how well the Lions drafted upon his arrival.
