Quote of the week

Locke: "It was either lose my hand or go to the Wall. I figured at least here I wouldn't have to suck up to any high-born c*nts here."
(Snow and Locke look at Lord Commander)
"Guess I was wrong."

I think someone is going to have to remind the interpreter that Grey Worm doesn't have a worm.

The way this season is going by so fast, they are probably soon going to introduce Ned's younger but less serious brother - Fred Stark.

This season should get really interesting now that their treading into territory not yet covered by the books.

There are so many butthurt book fans. I love the show and what they're doing.

Agreed all around. Though I'm not sure they really spoiled anything, just kind of confirmed what was always speculated (at least by me, and I'm usually really bad at speculating). As a book reader, I'm always happy when they surprise me and go in a little different direction that I don't expect. Sunday night was full of that.

Agree with you guys. I only recently read the books but I'm liking some of these changes. This Locke guy definitely seems like he can be a wildcard.

Definitely my least favourite. Way too many new POV characters that nobody cared about. I definitely think there were 2 too many Greyjoy uncles as POV characters. They should have only had 1 as a POV and allowed the other 2 to appear via his or Asha's (Theon's sister) chapters.

I like the Martells but didn't care so much for some of the other characters in Dorne. The Kingsguard that escorted Myrcella to Dorne for example. No idea what was the point of having a chapter written from his POV. Possible Spoiler but probably not since it will probably get cut from the show. Especially since they just killed him off in the next chapter in which he appeared from someone else's POV. The reader never really had much of a chance to care about this guy at all.

Another great episode! Hard to believe the season is half over already.

And so it is revealed that Littlefinger is responsible, either directly or indirectly, for pretty much everything that has been happening south of the Wall in Westeros. But what's his motive? He's playing the game well with lots of pawns. But I don't think Grandma Tyrell was manipulated by him at all. She was a willing accomplice from the beginning.

My favorite quote from this week comes from the Hound. - "The greatest swordsman that ever lived didn't even have a fucking sword?"

The last 3 have been kind of meh. They are dragging stuff out and making stuff up. They have left out big characters. This one was better than the last 2 though. The littlefinger scene and the Tywin/Cersei scene were the only ones of actual importance. The Arya and hound stuff has been entertaining but is just filler. The nights watch stuff is just made up right now. They are trying to make more out of less so they don't catch the books too soon but why leave out characters in that case?

Good quote!

Yeah, personally I think this season so far has been the best they've done. All the characters facing difficult choices. The storylines have been fantastic. The cinematography/direction has by far been the best of the series.

I really liked the moment last night when Bran was calling out to John Snow and then realized he had to move on. Made me very sad - have a feeling they will never see one another again.

And man, Lady Aryan is a screamer. Lol.

He seems to have the best line every week.
