That's OK, I googled it. Wow, so much has happened since then in the books. But that event is referenced in the story even now. It was a pretty big deal.

I remember a few things that happened right about that timeframe. I am dying to ask if this or that has happened, but can't in case it HASN'T and will spoil the upcoming events.

But book 3 is pretty freaking awesome. Best one IMO.

I liked it. Helped clear up some confusion and speculation about succession...the ending - no music - was great.

I knew Rob would die at one point (accidentally read a spoiler way back) but didn't expect it at the wedding. Wasn't until the happy couple was led off for the "bedding" that I suspected something was up.

Even though I knew it was coming eventually, still pretty shocking! Who's left to lead the Starks? Or the North?
