Kinda makes sense, they all know that she was bangin Littlefinger for years. Bran has seen it. Maybe that is why his eyes go all cloudy, when he is replaying the scenes in his mind

You gotta think a teenage boy is going to lots of "scenes" like that.

I thought the first 40 minutes or so was pretty boring. But I though the ending of episode 2 was great. I got a real sense of dread and a reminder that many or most of the characters I've grown to like over the years are likely going to die.

Also, some Arya side boob.

Diff'rent strokes and all, I guess. Thought last night was pretty much the first episode except with some awkward boob. One hour was enough, show me a fight.

I liked S8E2 as well. Maybe not the most action, but things needed to be set up and they took the time to do it.

I particularly enjoyed the scene in the hall with Jamie, Briene, Tyrion, Tormund, etc. TBH, their mood is identical to how I was feeling and will feel until Tuesday night when the Night King, errrr, Bergeron and the Gang bring Winter to the long suffering North. You know how the story ends, you hate it and there is nothing you can do about it. Sigh.

I got a real sense of dread and a reminder that many or most of the characters I've grown to like over the years are likely going to die.

I know, right? I thought they did it really well, some people got a few minutes of dread time, others like Sam a couple of seconds. But that was all you needed.

For me, Maisie Williams will always be the 11 year old pre-pubescent charmer from the first episode. To think of her doing it is just kinda weird.

Also, that was totally a body double. Maisie aint that well endowed

What do people think of the Reddit and internet theories out there?

1. Bran is the night king
2. Dany will join in the night king and become the ice queen
3. Arya is the waif (and/or) the waif is just a figment of her imagination on her journey to no one)

All just speculation, but I'm curious what people think. Any other theories out there?

Can't believe there are only 4 episodes left. Seems like there is a lot to resolve still.

Can't believe there are only 4 episodes left. Seems like there is a lot to resolve still.

I feel like most of the theories out there are far too complex to be considered. If any of them are right (like the first one as an example) the vast majority of the audience will say WTF ?!?!?! and the series will lose all credibility. Anything that comes completely out of left field will suffer that fate.

One theory I just heard is that the Night King is Rhaegar Targeryan (sp). The theory is that his body was never found after he was killed at the Trident, and somehow he became the NEXT Night King. One of the appeals of this theory is the similarity between the Targeryan crest and the wheel spoke symbol thingy most recently seen courtesy of little Lord Umber. it also "explains" why the Night King can ride a dragon.

This theory requires that you accept there has been multiple Night Kings, for which there is no evidence. Interestingly, in E2 Bran does confirm there has been multiple 3 Eyed Ravens. I don't subscribe to this theory, but it is better than most of them out there.
