I'm the same. when I read SportsHoopla on my iPhone I have to turn it sideways and then increase the zoom a touch. its too small

Yeah, you can zoom in but then you have to do lots and lots of scrolling which is a pain.

its actually not that small.. it only fits like 10 words per 'page' though.. lots of 'page turning'.. granted, you can do that just by tapping the edge of the screen

i dont mind it when i'm bored and in a pinch

How is it that the best shows on TV are all cable shows, and they all tend to be longer running than their network counterparts? Maybe it's because you can get away with more on cable? But you would think with all the extra advertising income for networks they could compensate for the lack of an R or TV/MA rating.

I think it's because the pay channels are not quite the slave to ratings that the networks are. They make their money on subscriptions and back-end DVD sales and not from the whims of the advertisers.

Touche. Advertisers are also terrified of being associated with anything that could be interpreted as non-PC and therefore network TV is not as willing to take chances. Sponsors really ruin creativity.
