Did it say anywhere that this is douche-kids first contact with the cops?
He says he's researching something for whocares.org, probably a friends conspiricy blog. How do we know he hasn't been bugging the living shit out of the police dor days/weeks, been warned, and they finally got tired of it?

Just a conspiracy theory of my own, not knowing all the facts.

I think the conspiracy runs deeper. I think the teen d-bag is part of an organization of protesters and this is like his training. He'll probably end up getting killed trying to stop Japanese whaling ships in the south pacific. Or maybe he's just one of these guys.

No one is shooting down any theories. All we said was the cops handled it wrong and violated his civil rights, which they did. If the cop was truly involved in an official investigation, he should have advised said youth, given him the opportunity to leave or be arrested. then upon being placed under arrest, which he was, he should have been read the Miranda act. When they got his identification, they should have contacted his parents. I have no problem with the police doing their job, just follow the laws as you want civilians to. Everyone agreed the kid is a punk douchbag.

The Sergeant/supervisor on duty knew immediately there was not sufficient cause to arrest and released the kid as soon as possible.
