Also, I would live in a neighborhood of cops before a neighborhood of average people. All of the onesthat I have met with or worked with have been hard working, compassionate folks always looking for how to help out. Great men and women in my experience...

How do you know he did not read him his rights? Cause it aint on this kids claim to fame on you tube?

How do you know his parents were not notified? Once again cause this kid says so on you tube?

I doubt the kid would make those accusations without being true because that would be slander or making false accusations, both of which are punishable offenses. I think they thought they were gonna scare the shit out of him, but they were wrong. Again, there was a better, and legal way to handle the situation.

If this kid followed me around with a camera I break the camera and then break him. The cop doesnt have that privilege in this case so he acted in a very peaceful manner imo. Yea, if you want to exploit the law and say you can't cuff a kid for that long without notifying parents, fine. But we don't know the full story. Maybe he was a little asshole when the camera was off and gave the cops a hard time? No need to call parents until you have him under control.

If the kid broke the law they should have arrested and booked him legally. They didn't do that. That's the issue I have. Just because the kid is a prick doesn't give the police the right to abuse his civil rights. They're actually supposed to PROTECT them.

None of which is comes from jealousy. You're the one that assumed I've called in favors, which you were wrong about. The cops that I dont have problems I called cops...the ones that are dirty/unprofessional I called pigs. But you probably missed that when you were busy thinking I calls in favors on the daily. News : Wahpeton police officer suspended (Wahpeton, ND and Breckenridge, Minn.)

Per the local newspaper, the officer was suspended. So the folks with blinders on claiming the cop is doing his duty are INCORRECT!!!! He was also told if he didnt clean up his act he would be dismissed.

He also has multiple complaints filed against him in the past!

Protect a kid who is obviously trying to cost you your job? No thanks. The kid wasn't abused, he wasn't hurt...if he was I am sure we would be hearing about it.

If the kid was trying to get a story, simply ask the officer if he would like to speak with him. Instead, he gets in the way and gets what he deserved. If my kid did this, I would WANT the cop to do this.

It may be edited, but it sounds like the cop starting putting the cuffs on before reading his rights (if he did at all) which is a no no unless the person is fleeing. So he did fuck up there regardless.

Dont even try to play that card. Theres times where people cry outrage over cops and they get off following an investigation showing they didnt do anything wrong. It happens alot in NY and most people dont like it. But if do things by the book, you got nothing to worry about.
