I don't know. I feel like age and maturity plays an important role though. I am way more confident and secure now than I was ten years ago. And I think those kind of internal changes really come across. I feel sad when I see young women behaving kind of desperately for attention. I have faith they'll grow out of it though.

That's definitely a trend I've noticed as I've gotten older as well, but there are exceptions I've seen women get way more desperate as they get older, but usually those are women that only valued themselves based on their looks and as the signs of age set in they feel their window of opportunity is diminishing.

If by good mother you mean a woman that's able to bare lots of offspring. My opinion is that science shouldn't ever travel into the world of the subjective, good is a qualifying term and not very scientific.
