Russell Wilson > RGIII

The Seahawks didn't have to trade a first round pick, or even use a first round pick, to get him either. Suck it Mel Kiper. Suck it all 31 other teams that could have had him but don't. Suck it Redskins for trading all those first round picks to the fucking Rams who play in the Seahawks' division. And suck it Packers for having the only game losing interception in NFL history.

Here's the thing, DaBolts. You're wrong... a lot, frequently, often. You were more than happy to jump to the conclusion this was a bad trade before RG3 set foot on the field. But now that RG3 is a proven commodity (albeit without longevity yet), you aren't willing to admit that your comments were a little ridiculous given how sure you were this was a terrible trade?

I care not whether RG3 or Luck is the better player, though it can be a fun debate. That was not the point of this thread nor my post.

I understand some of you not be willing to say you think this will be a successful trade. I have no issues being able to reach the correct conclusion before others. ;)

The deal isn't done yet. The Rams haven't drafted all their goodies yet. RG3 has had a good 12 games. Whether or not this was a good trade for the Redskins will depend on his health & whether or not they can put a team together that can contend in coming years. RG3 has already had 1 concussion. I don't believe in Shanahan. Elway made him look like a genius in Denver. Time will tell if RG3 can do the same.

Lets Get sciencey.
Where's Darkstone, I don't do math.

Extrapolating for sample size...
If we can put Crosby in the HOF and declare him as one of the greatest of all time after 2 years in the league, we can declare RGIII a superstar for the long haul after 12 games in the NFL.

We are hockey fans.
It's what we do.

I hate to say it twice in the same thread Elo, but your argument for RGIII is a lot like what I was saying about Fitzpatrick a couple of years ago.

And I still haven't called you on that, yet...

You asked for science and then failed to give me statistically significant sample sizes?

Please. :hand:

He had a sprain. He'll be fine. Oh look we won again. Why don't you shut the fuck up? You'd be wrong 100% less.

So did the Rams. He's already had 2 injuries in his rookie year. Besides the only way this deal works out for the Redskins is if they win a Super Bowl at some point with RG3. Time will tell.

Look... idiot... you declared this a horrible trade before RG3 had played one down in the NFL. You compared it to Herschel Walker trade, which was ridiculous. Now you are saying the only way this is a win deal is winning a Super Bowl? First off, good, I think RG3 will win a Super Bowl before he's done. But in your scenario, that presumes they would have won a Super Bowl had they NOT made the trade.

So you aren't really making sense... which is par for the course b/c you post based more on your biases than you do based on logic.

RG3 is playing awesome. This is his second MINOR injury, which is pretty normal for a football player throughout a season. In fact, I'd bet most rookie starters don't finish out the year as their bodies adjust.

Get over it. Stop looking more stupid.

Like I said time will tell. The Redskins haven't done anything yet. I still think it was a bad deal. They gave up a lot. RG3 has already had 1 concussion. Concussions aren't minor no matter what. You're bias because you're a Skins fan. They can do no wrong. In the NFL injuries happen every week. If RG3 can't stay healthy the trade was a mistake. It's that simple. Andrew Luck is playing better with probably half the talent on his team.

LOL!!

You know the Redskins backup QB is pretty good. He was taken in the same draft class right? Russell Wilson went in the 3rd round. Tony Romo was a free agent. We all know about Tom Brady. Joe Montana 3rd round. Kurt Warner was cut by the Packers.

My point is QB's can be found in every draft & those taken at the top of the draft aren't always the best. Do you think the 49ers would like a do over so they could take Aaron Rodgers? Michael Vick has sure become a great QB hasn't he? He went 1st overall & the QB taken with the 1st pick of the 2nd round is by far the better player. His name is Drew Brees. It's far to early to make a judgement on RG3. We should give him at least 4 more years.
