This has come up for debate, and it's certainly a curious question. Only once before has a "death penalty" been levied in NCAA history...the infamous SMU Mustangs pay for play controversy. Well, I think we all can agree that this instance is much worse than a few fast cars and dollar bills being handed out, but is it the NCAA's place to step in? Should they do something short of the death penalty, stay out of it?
