an on the other end of the range,
Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me released this day 1987

so tough to pick a favourite from this double album, so I'll narrow it down to three

Absolutely one of the best, most complete albums ever made.

Since puck let me know that Glorious Sons would be in Columbus, I went off to youtube to look for more that I might not have heard yet. There were a few. But in the playlist was this. I can't get enough of these guys right now:

Dan Peek came to my college and played an acoustic set of mostly America songs at an outdoor picnic for freshman orientation.

been obsessed with these guys lately. Couple of Good Canadian Kids outa Cobourn Ontario.
first album came out last week, and it slaps.

great imagery in lyrics

Short cut to a quick buck is working all the time
Renting out your mind, And saving every dime
Because when ten of those combine They cross a sacred line
And go from pocket change To a gold mine

oh, and their album cover is a picture that their teacher took in grade 1 or something, when their moms unknowingly dressed them the exact same way

Old Guy Radio uncovers this gem from Steely Dan's first album "Can't Buy a Thrill" which was released in November 1972. Tony Soprano sang this tune in an episode of "The Sopranos" and it was also featured in the movie "Suicide Squad"

love this lyric

You can go ahead and get married, and this'll be our secret thing
I won't tell a soul except the people in the nightclub where I sing.

Old Guy Radio selects this live performance from The Who as they wrap up a tour at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto just prior to Xmas 1982. The intro is fantastic (great keyboard work and then Townsend starts shredding, Thunder Fingers Entwistle pounding on the bass and Daltry doesn't have much to do in this song so they just handed him a guitar to make him look good lol)
