That's the best collaboration with Stevie Wonder since he got together with Frank Sinatra....hold on, I'm being told that's Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo.

unreleased tracks from the Road Apples sessions.

some details

after thinking they had lost old masters in the Universal Fire of 2008 on the Universal Studios Backlot, the band, led by drummer Johnny Fay, decided to mine the archives, where they found these six songs.

Playing guitar while roller-skating and buying a hot dog in an all-white suit - That's a special hat trick right there.

Old Guy Radio's entry today goes back to 1970 - When you hear the name Eric Burdon, you immediately think of the The Animals and House of the Rising Sun which is an iconic song, but he also collaborated with WAR on this song that went to #3 on the Billboard chart.

Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me released this day 1987

so tough to pick a favourite from this double album, so I'll narrow it down to three

Old Guy Radio goes back to 1973 today with this classic tune from the Marshall Tucker Band - A blend of country and southern rock (and one of those rare rock songs that has a flute section).

8 minutes and 20 seconds of blues/jazz guitar from Jeff Healey (pretty amazing keyboard section as well).
