what i meant i guess is that it's not the Miami LeBrons like it was in Cleveland for the most part. i have a few Ohio friends who are seriously heartbroken right now. i mean, to me this is like Sid stepping up and saying "I've decided to join Ovechkin and Iginla in Calgary" (tried to think of a hockey hyped market there). of course, i wouldn't even want him back if there was even QUESTION that he wanted to be here.

Tough blow for Cleveland. I feel for my friends there right now. I'm sad about it too, but I totally respect and understand his decision.

I don't know what some of these analysts are talking about regarding how they might not fit together. The NBA formula is pretty simple...

Get 2-3 of the best players in the game + some decent roll players = crank out titles



PS - Thank goodness the Caps have OV for life. If that was Ovechkin up there saying that to my home team, I'd be CRUSHED right now. Poor, poor Cleveland.

Although the Heat now have 3 stars, LeBron has still never played well in the playoffs and the other 2 that will fill out the starting 5 will most likely be rookies.

I still see this Heat team struggling with Orlando Boston and probably The Lakers if they would get to the Final.

I don't get pissed, but if Lebron had gone to Chicago, it could have lost him the next election. It will be close, Ohio is THE key state, and you're going to piss off the part of the state (NE Ohio) that supported you the most.

People say that, but nobody ever says Jordan wasn't the greatest b/c he had Pippen or Magic wasn't one of the greatest b/c he had Kareem.

A title is a title is a title. IMO, this line of thinking is overplayed and overstated.

Not the year he carried a terrible team to the Finals? Not the time he beat Detroit by scoring like 20 straight points for his team in the 4th and OT to win the game?

You have to be joking. He didn't have his best year this season, but the guy has been phenomenal over the years.
