I remember (barely) when Leafs fans legitimately planned a parade down Yonge st.

I remember getting a blue portable 8 track player for Easter when i was 9 years old. My first 8 track was an episode of Saturday Night Live.

I remember the days when kids being grounded meant you weren't allowed outside of the house, as opposed to nowadays when it usually means they're not allowed inside the house.

I remember when if I wanted to look up a hockey or baseball players stats, I could only do so if I had his most recent hockey/baseball card. Even then it wouldn't include the current season.

I got my first record (45) for Christmas. "You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Boone. The first album I got was the "Grease" soundtrack. lol.

I remember thinking digital was so incredibly awesome that nobody in their right mind would ever want anything analogue ever again.

How about wired remote controls for tvs / vcrs lol

it was a big day in the house when my dad bought the VCR. it was close to $1,000.
came with an 8-foot wire on the remote, so whoever was on 'that' side of the couch had to run the remote.
and god help you if you fucked up!!

I remember when I got upset that the price of hockey cards exceeded $0.01 per card in a pack.
I think the tipping point was $0.25, and there were 20 or 22 cards per pack (plus the concrete gum)

I remember my dad bragging about how his expensive new BetaMax recorder was going to put the regular VCR out of business.

We had a Chrysler station wagon with wood grain siding that would tell me the door was a jar. Man when you're a little kid, that's hilarious.
