I remember going to Drive In's not remembering what movie I was there to see because my teenage hands were learning about the female anatomy.

Edit: Ha Ha, post #69, how appropriate !!

Damn Boss, you did a "69" at a drive in? :hail:

hockey cards were made of simple cardboard with a stick of hard gum in them. I have no idea what they use to make them now... .and no GUM

That's probably good. That gum was always SO damn hard it probably choked a few kids.

  • When watermelon flavored Big League Chew meant everything to a young kid trying to look like the pro MLB'ers.
  • Felix Potvin should have led the Leafs to the SC Finals to faceoff against Patty Wah.
  • When Koho sticks and goalie pads were cool.
  • Having to dig into the couch cushions to find enough change to buy a pack of baseball cards.....hoping for a Griffey Jr.
  • When making dug out forts and hanging G.I. Joes from trees was fun from sunset to sundown.

I remember the days when we had to count the rings on the telephone to know if the call was for you're house.

Or intentionally dialing a wrong number on a pay phone and talking to people all over the country (only a few seconds) between the message from the automated operator and the "please hang-up the phone" signal.

I never did home ec, but I had a lot of fun in shop (especially with the welder).

/Made my dad a wallet in the leather portion of shop class and he liked it so much, he gave it to my uncle in Germany :(
