I still can't get over how bad the Cowboys playoff positioning is. I would've rather been the 4 or 5 seed. Carolina and Arizona aren't good.

If they're good enough it won't matter.

No doubt I would love to see the Cowboys win tomorrow and then go as far as winning 2 more and then a SB victory, however this team has already exceeded my expectations this year. To know at the beginning of the season that they would win the division and make the playoffs and have a chance to advance, I would have taken that and been pleased. I feel like they are playing with house money at this point and that could make them a tough out going forward. Win each week against that opponent and advance, that is all they can do now.

Going one and done is fucking pathetic.... Especially after winning 12 games. I'd be a lot more upset if they lost tomorrow as opposed to next week. Need to win one game and see what happens after that.

Based on pre-season expectations, you are beyond wrong, its not pathetic, its BEYOND expectations

Get over it

Get over it

Going by pre-season expectations, then yes they've already overachieved, if you can call it that. And if they were playing against a real team like Green Bay or Seattle, then I'd say there would be no shame in losing.

But the Cowboys have already proven the pre-season expectations were wrong and that they are a good football team. And they are playing a really, really weak opponent tomorrow. The Lions are not good. Period. They have a great run defense and still arguably the best WR in the game. But look at the rest of the players and stats. Matthew Stafford is as mediocre as it gets. Their running game is one of the worst in the NFL. Their special teams unit is a train wreck. And they can be beat through the air on defense. They won a TOTAL of 1 game this season against a team with better than a .500 record. One. They beat GB early in the season before they had found their game. They went 1-4 against playoff teams. They beat both the Saints and Falcons by 1 point each. They struggled to beat the Bears. The Bears. They won 2 of their other games this season on broken plays as time expired. They are not a strong team by any stretch of the imagination.

So while the Cowboys have already exceeded pre-season expectations, it's not unreasonable to have a new set of expectations for them based on who they actually are, not who a bunch of analysts thought they might be. A loss tomorrow to a middle of the pack team like Detroit would not be acceptable. The Cowboys are the better team hands down.

Based on expectations no doubt Dallas has hit it out of the park but when you start winning then expectations only naturally increases. I mean after going 6-1, if they finished 9-7 then certainly expectations were still exceeded based on preseason but overall it would have been a failure.

I do feel Dallas is the better overall team so they should win today.

Carolina, Baltimore, Cincy, and Detroit (hardest for me to pick)

Here's hoping you don't do as well in your picks today as you did yesterday.

Didn't expect Indy to beat Cincy today. Makes you wonder if it's time to move on from Marvin Lewis.

Good Lord.....we are just doing so many things wrong now.

I know it's the 1st quarter, but we are completely discombobulated at the moment.
