The idea of releasing Romo for nothing pisses me off. I wish we could at least get a 3rd rounder for him. So disappointing

I think at this point, they decided it was worth the PR vs the draft pick to allow Romo to choose where he finishes out his career. No one was going to give them much in the way in draft picks anyway

I would've told Prescott or Elliot to take a knee on the 1 yard line and run a few more plays / kill more clock to try and win it.

You can't let an Aaron Rodgers or tom Brady beat you because they will. Especially when your entire defense is banged up.

I would've rather lost trying to kill the clock and score slower than let Rodgers do it to them again. The cowboys had 2 time outs and they could've bled the clock.
