You get pics?
Bunch of videos. Kid took pics.
Won't be able to see if they are any good until I get home. WiFi on board is too weak to transfer from camera.

I'm more looking forward to the shark vids from St Kitts.

Updates:

- The soda on the shelves in the garage is frozen
- The ground and air is so cold that the dog does not want to go outside to walk/poop so we are paper training a 10 year old dog.
- In the basement, where the paper training is happening, the insides of the windows are frosted over.
- On my neighborhood Facebook group, someone asked if the grocery store is still doing delivery or not. Fuck those lazy cunts who can't be arsed to do anything for themselves on a GOOD day, to expect someone to your lazy asses' bidding today is fucking pathetic. People are dying out there, Karen. You can wait for your grapes. At least they got absolutely skewered.

Stay safe!
No precipitation here, besides 5 minutes of heavy snow yesterday morning, but super cold and windy. A lot of black ice from the two previous two days of rain we had. Lots of power outages so the city is opening "warming centers" around the area. Not great but all in all nothing like you got hit with, hope you get some relief soon!

The snow wasn't so bad, it's the cold air and wind that is causing all the problems. It's so cold that the road treatments we have aren't working because the air and ground is colder than they have capability to melt. The layer of ice that was put down is still there and the plows are just skimming over it. And the wind just keeps blowing the snow back over them anyway.

I will have to go out Monday to re-stock supplies but can stay put until then.

Heading your way Tuesday. I'll bring the cold with me :thumb:

Please don't. 14 with a high of 18 is cold enough!

Ventured out because my kids are acting like this is the end of the world and consuming stuff at an alarming rate. Plus I wanted to get out of the house.

The roads are in the same condition that you would expect to find them in when it is actively snowing hard, except that the snow ended yesterday. You just need to use caution and not do anything stupid, which is too difficult a concept for some people. One of my neighbors parked their car across the road out of our neighborhood to shovel their driveway. Like just backed it out straight and started shoveling... I am egging the shit out of that house if egg prices ever come down.

Parents live about 20 minutes south of the city of Buffalo. Snow held out for most of yesterday, but there was somewhere around 15", give or take.

The driveway is clear... For now. Saying it could be another 1 1/2 feet before it stops. Driving ban remains in effect for the third day in a row.

For what I can only assume are completely unrelated reasons, everyone in the house is plotting to murder everyone else.

The biggest worry in my neck of the woods now is flooding as after all the snow that fell, the big melt is on combined with a week of heavy rain in the forecast.

Same here. We're not even out of this storm and they're already talking about potential flooding later in the week when it gets up to 50 degrees.
