Just for fun at a crowded grocery store yesterday I used the self check out lane. The machine asked me to select my language with an on screen prompt. I pretended I didn't see/understand so I quietly said "English" then stood there. It then asked me again. I said "English" a bit louder. It asked again. After a few seconds I looked around in fake frustration and began yelling "English, my language is English, we speak English in the country!". Finally a clerk came over to select English for me. I smiled and said, "nah, I'm just messing around".
Oddly enough the people behind me waiting did not seem amused.

The guy in the back blocking his face (inadvertently or not) is the average person. These two are the people who spend their lives on Twitter obsessing with this shit to the extreme. Neither are representative of the public overall and both pose the biggest problem to their own causes in trying to get the guy in the back to go along with what's rational.

But anyway, i'm kinda lost on why this has to do with race?
