I have a few things I need done around the house that I just can't get to. I called several handyman services and all were between 100 and 130 an hour.

I asked around and got a few names of individuals and they all came in at 55-65 and hour. Talking with one of them, he said he was contacted by one of the handyman services to subcontract my work and they offered him 45/hr. He wouldn't tell me which so I don't know how low they bid him.

Same guy doing the actual work, he's making more and I'm paying less. And he can get here 6 days sooner than the "service".

Thanks man,it was tough. I logged in one day and there was 1 new post calling me a "momma's boy" and they were gone. I looked but I could never find them. Luckily my mother tracked them down and gave them hell for me.
