I had a webex meeting yesterday with a software rep to get some training. Because I was given access to the software console 4 years ago I thought it was going to be a waste of time. In the introductions the rep said he lived in Vancouver and was a diehard Canuck fan like a lot of Canadians. So then I told him even though I am in Baltimore I'm a big Canadiens fan. So then we talked hockey for the next few minutes.

Best meeting I had in months!

Back when I was a teenager my parents were away, and my buddy and I had a couple of girls coming over for the weekend.
My friend was a waiter, and called in to get the next couple of shifts off. He panicked when they asked him why, and said he broke his elbow.

so he ended up having to take about a month off to sell it.

My logic is because I'm going to be in a small room with a few others it might seem weird if I'm too sick to go in today but symptom* free tomorrow.
