OT: Bullshitting at the Barbershop

Yesterday, I pulled some dishtowels out of the dryer and noticed they had small ink spots on them. Thought that was weird. Then later in the day, noticed my youngest washing some ink off her hands and asked what happened. She said she had no idea, she just eating some soup and noticed it on her hand. I looked and there was an ink spot on the mug she was using. Weird.

Just went to pull a baking stone with a pizza sub on it out of the oven and noticed ink all over my hands. And the baking stone and the oven mitt I used.

Went to the oven mitt/dish towel drawer and found a broken pen in there. That is not where we keep pens, especially not broken ones. The kiddo had used the same oven mitt to take her soup out of the microwave.

On a hunch, I went to look at the vacated room and saw ink splotches on the sofa. so as best as I can ascertain - one of them had an issue with a pen and instead of simply throwing it away, they ditched it in the drawer closest to their room?

Similar note they put one of those double diamond interchanges on the Jimmy Carter and Pleasant hill exit of I-85 in Atlanta. The goal was to help ease the traffic yeah every time I am near one of those exits it is a mess.

When I was moving to BC I used one of these leaving the hotel I stayed at outside Regina. It was 5:30 am and I was convinced there was something wrong lol

Full disclosure, they started putting them in around here maybe 15 years ago. It probably took 7 or 8 years before you could go through one at a normal pace.
They put one in a very busy intersection in the fancy* section of the county, I went through it once and never again. It might be fine now but I still avoid it because of the mayhem early on.




*Fancy partially because it's getting its 3rd major renovation / rebuild in 30 years while the rest of the county never gets any renovation cash
