I made a point to download WKRP off of some torrent site as it would be impossibly expensive to obtain the rights to the music to re release it.

I havent watched it yet. For this set (I gave it as a Christmas gift years ago) they made an effort to get the music rights. So the box set was not cheap. It does state that they were unsuccessful in some cases so at times replacement music was used. Hopefully not too bad, or too often.

When the show was in syndication in the mid-late 90s it was supposed to be unwatchable due to them switching the music. I read some place that in an episode Johnny Fever played Achy Breaky Heart. I never saw that so I am not sure if it was an exaggeration or not.

When I got this job years ago (kill me now) we started paying someone to cut our lawn. I was spending half my day off cutting the lawn then the other half waiting for the allergies to stop so it was worth it. We just hired someone new and I am not sure hes going to make it. I haven’t watched that show in years upon years. I forgot just how funny Jim was. The look on his face when he was hitting a particularly bad note were great
