Probably best to move Howard and Rollins way the fuck down. Pretty much any lineup blows. But, fuck it. Utley bats clean up.

CF Revere
RF Byrd
DH Brown
2B Utley
C Ruiz
3B Asche
1B Howard
SS Rollins
LF Gwynn

You guys'll have to get used to OD. He's a new Phillies fan from Oregon.

I'm really happy to see Tony "Anthony" Gwynn, Jr. make the big league roster on Opening Day. I'd love to see him back in San Diego where he belongs.

Asche is a stud

You could be right. I definitely hope so. Some people are already saying he'll just be an average hitter I guess based on his 180 plate appearances last year, but really he did about as well as Domonic Brown did his first couple times in the majors. And Asche moved up through the minors very fast considering the Phillies are sometimes slow to promote guys. He's still young so his power could increase. For his first full year, if he could hit 20 hrs with a .340 OBP he would be the best 3b they've had in a while.

Looks pretty useless to me.

Stop looking at spring training batting averages and get on the bandwagon before it gets crowded. The guy has good plate discipline and can get extra base hits. Unless Maikel Franco learns to fucking take a pitch now and then Asche will be the guy the Phillies are building around. Book it, slam it, rub it down!

I was speaking of the overall line-up there Cedrique and who said anything about ST batting averages? I don't need a bandwagon either because after 50+ years of following the Phils, I am not going anywhere. In other words, chill out!

I can't chill out. It's opening day and the Phillies are tied for first place and will stay that way for at least another hour or two

Howard actually drawing a walk should be worth two hits

6 runs, Howard with a walk, Rollins with a homer, and Revere hit a ball out of the infield in the air.

That's pretty amazing. Might want to end the season now on a high note.

Things were looking good until rally killer Chase came up again. I heard a rumor that he's been hanging out with some gang members in LA. It may be time to cut ties.....

good usage of hits so far, lol

and here comes Cliff Lee's MO, when he gets runs, he gives them right back, but if its a 0-0 game, he pitches lights out

when Hamels comes back, trade this piece of shit once and for all. Im so over the Lee era here in Philly

will never forgive him for that faggot shit performance in NLCS vs Cardinals when we were up 1-0 in series and he was staked a 4-0 lead in game 2 and he choked

Last season alone, when the Phillies scored 4 runs or more, Lee gave up 3 runs or less NINE times.
