The Cowen hit on Skinner. The Canes announcers keep going on how this was a dirty hit. :L Looks pure as the driven snow to me.

Also have to admire the stones on LaRose for fighting Cowen. Probably not the smartest choice but brave.

How is that hit dirty at all? Cowen is merely taller than Skinner.

And now Westgarth (or insert random goon here) fights Jared Cowen.

It's gonna be like that then Neil will fight Justin Faulk.

Brutal.

Why do I get the feeling the Lightning are going to regret that trade with the Sens?

Didn't they get Bishop because they thought he was the missing key to winning now?

Nah. Bishop is good and is young by goalie standards. He'll be fine.

Conacher looks like a beaut though. He set up a sweet goal tonight. I think it'll be a win-win trade.

EDIT: I forgot the 4th round pick!!!! LULZ!!! Sens PWNED the Frightning!!

I can't help but think that Tampa could have waited to pick up a decent goalie in the off-season without it costing them a player like Conacher?

Oh well, live and learn.

You might be right.

Not sure who'll be available but Bishop will be solid for the next two years without breaking the bank.

I'm just happy with Conacher as a Sens fan.

Looks like the Jets are making a push to get into the PO's while the Wild are managing to hold on to their spot.

I'll take the Jets in the dance over the Rags every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Good night of hockey. The Isles WON!! The Rangers LOST!! The Jets WON!!

I don't care who knocks the Rangers out of the playoffs as long as SOMEBODY does.:D:

I am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter(s).

This is the first time in a long time I have said it as a Jackets fan, but with all sincerity... THANK YOU Steve Mason.

If/When the Devils are eliminated, I think I have to throw my support behind Johnny T and the Islanders.

Kinda funny that Kyle Brodziak is exactly the type of player the Oil could use up front and he scores twice agianst his former team last night.
