funny part is we dont ever need to discuss who that 1 is.

god frak. I was sooo hoping they would be toast, I just cant for the life of me wonder why they keep them

Well I think they want some continuity early on, kind of like how they kept some of the same announcers - maybe once they're a few years into the deal they might switch a bit

my guess is that they couldnt hire the TSN guys and just went with what was safe for them. the TSN crew was reupped for local games and sports centre

Yeah that's true, but I think they wanted to keep some continuity too - there really wasn't a whole lot available

Sorry Dash.

And all other Canadian team fans.

Jason Spezza wouldn't be a good fit in Calgary anyway - Flames still need more rebuilding, however, if they could give up Jiri Hudler, Dennis Wideman and a 2nd or 3rd? That'd be a steal - but the Flames aren't a contender yet so it doesn't make sense

If I had an option of kesler or spezza I'm keeping kes, I'd also take jumbo over him, and about 20 other guys, he can fade away in some small market but he may end up on the rangers seems a fit once Richards is bought out

Interesting stuff from that score most likely buyout article

No one really knows if ryan malone is eligible to be bought out as he is in the nhl substance abuse program
