I need to know, is it Zid-LICK-Y or ZID-LITCH-KEY? I've heard both.
I thought he played decent for the Sens. would think he would know hes not a $5M guy however.
I don't blame Hemsky though, he was a team player this season in Edmonton, he played a smaller role and didn't complain - and then went to Ottawa and tore it up and was pretty healthy for the duration of this season - I'd be looking for a nice payday if I was him - and I'm sure teams will be interested
I'm also curious if some team tries a package deal where they trade for Spezza and then sign Hemsky - those two were great together

He'll sign and be hurt by October
Im not sure 4 goals and 17 points in 20 games is tearing it up. I think he played very well but not enough to see him as elite UFA option. I dont blame him for trying but cant see a team paying over $5M
very risky of him to be playing in the IIHF Inline World Championships without a contract.
That Austrian-born super sniper Thomas Vanek, lately of the Montreal Canadiens, was determined to test the open market as a first-time unrestricted free agent this summer was the worst-kept secret in hockey for months.
Vanek was explicit about wanting to test the open market on July 1 in March, and the widespread belief that he couldn't be re-signed prevented the New York Islanders from maximizing their return for the skilled forward at the trade deadline.
so gord miller goes to pittsburgh with pierre mcguire then? Im more than ok with that exchange
Paul romanuk coming back to north america to join sportsnets hockey coverage this season
How much money is Edmonton going to throw in the direction of Thomas Vanek?
