Well, it clearly happens and continues to happen, so I'm not sure the discipline is too effective.

The only way to get across is to suspend the players and coaches - fining won't do anything

NHL discipline not effective? The hell you say!

The league should have anyone who violates the concussion protocol get a random cup-check from Lucic. You never know when it's going to happen.

Interesting - I think this is something they could use, an offensive threat from the blueline - he wouldn't be the guy though because Victor Hedman has turned into a stud, and if they can get Dan Boyle for less $ that wouldn't be so bad

Martin is a decent coach, but not sure he has that killer instinct. He's had decent teams as a head coach and didn't get very far with them.

Nuts and bolts wise, they were pretty good.

They can get Boyle's rights for dirt cheap. I'd be surprised if it cost anything more than a 7th round pick.
