All of a sudden, the Jets are only four points behind the Canucks (things are getting very tight for those last three playoff spots in the West - I thought the Kings were safe, but they've come back to the pack).

Maybe I'm just sentimental Matty, but I miss the good ole Smythe Division (along with the Patrick, Adams and Norris divisions).

i just dont understand why they didnt rename those. I think it would have been fantastic. and go back to Wales vs Campbell

Atlantic = Orr (I just put Bobby above Howe because um with Detroit and Boston in the same Divison... there is no winner on who gets this one and Im a horrible person)

Metropolitan = Lemieux

Central = Howe

Pacific = Gretzky

Fair enough.

I just don't like having the divisions named after guys who are still involved with the league on a regular basis (eg. Gretzky and Lemieux).

Maybe Sawchuk, Howe, Beliveau and Mikita.

Gets all the minorities in there including a Euro and a goalie!!!

Central = Quenneville Division

Pacific = Wilson Division

Herb Brooks would be good but then you gotta have a Badger Bob Division as well IMO.
