Flames currently are the hottest team in the NHL with a five game winning streak.

Enjoy it while it lasts :D

What's going on with the California teams and their inability to score goals

Ducks get shutout tonight for the first time this season
Kings have 3 goals in their last 6 games
Sharks have 2 goals their last 4 games

How about Joel Ward with 16 goals on the season? Always have liked Joel.

/even when he eliminated the Bruins.
//Caps lead 2-0 early in the 1st period.

I'm OK with this too.

Of course if the Nucks want to go 4-0 on that swing, I'm just fine with that too.

Calgary 5-1-1 since Mount Tortorella exploded...Canucks went 2-4 in his absence.

Backlund OT winner from last night - Kid is putting it all together this season.

Edit: Monahan going skate-to-stick in tight on Kuemper was a beauty as well. Take that Ryan Lambert you dooshnozzle.

was this posted?

how was there no penalty (it also led to a Leaf goal)

Carlyle's take:

“I saw it and Kadri really hit him from the side,” Leafs coach Randy Carlyle said. “He didn’t hit him in the numbers and Ceci did go in awkwardly. There was no intent to hit him from behind. I don’t deem there would be anything further.”

Kadri:

Said Kadri: “He was looking up ice, from what I remember, when I was engaging him. I think he turned to try to give himself a little more room, and at that point I am fully committed on the hit and finished my check. I did let up a little bit, the puck was laying there, and I just put it out front.”

Don't know where that bad jersey thread is but here is the Hershey Bears Goundhog day jersey...

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster, drank Piña Coladas. At sunset we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over and over and over?

:L:bullshit:

LOL at Kadri saying he let up. He extends his arms and everything. And Ceci did NOT turn anywhere close to at the last minute.

It was a dirty hit and they got away with. There is no need to insult people's intelligence on top of everything else.

All of a sudden, the Jets are only four points behind the Canucks (things are getting very tight for those last three playoff spots in the West - I thought the Kings were safe, but they've come back to the pack).

It'd be something if the Jets ended up making the playoffs - should be an interesting race
