at the very least its nice to see the city of winnipeg is as defensive (if not more) than Vancouver is about their team/city ... on top of liking to try and run their players out of town

i get the feeling a long playoff run for the jets would mean the city burns ... but actually Im not sure if thats just to heat the frigid city though

Haha, there were a few articles in the Buffalo News about the paper's Sabres reporter struggling to get into Winnipeg for their NYE game. Flights kept getting canceled because it was too cold in 'Peg.

It has been damn cold this past week in the 'Peg (wind chills taking the temp down to -50 degrees Celsius). When exposed skin freezes in 30 seconds, that's brutal.
