Shepyshev (Oilers prospect at the wjhc) reminds me so much of yak.
Lots of talent but just a massive bitch.

During the USA game, he was killing a penalty, went streaking up the ice when Russia got possession, and when his comrade iced it instead of finding him, shepyshev barked at him all the way to the bench and for a good while after. Nice captain.

From what I obtained reading a thread on HFboards, he slagged the city of Winnipeg pretty bad on a TSN broadcast (no players want to go there, weather sucks etc.). Then he poured gas on the fire when he decided to tweet out more crap.

I agree that he is not long for employment as TSN, at this rate, he'll be gonged by TSN in short order.

at the very least its nice to see the city of winnipeg is as defensive (if not more) than Vancouver is about their team/city ... on top of liking to try and run their players out of town

i get the feeling a long playoff run for the jets would mean the city burns ... but actually Im not sure if thats just to heat the frigid city though
