Boss, the hockey in the 70's and 80's was a lot of fun and you are dead on about the hate factor in the Adams Division. The Norris Division also had its fair share of donneybrooks and the Battle of Alberta was never as heated as it was in the 80's.

I dont remember ever watching funner hockey than those days

I recall bars in Red Deer (almost exactly halfway between Calgary and Edmonton) putting up wire mesh to keep Oilers and Flames fans from tearing each other apart.

lol - If memory serves, I'm not that much older than you young lady.

Yeah, was kinda hoping you forgot that part...

No, I'm the old boy here, shit I was talking hockey with my son last week and he was saying how great the games were in the Adams division esp with Quebec and the Bruins VS the Sabres. Damn time fly's by.

Edit: Well my multi quotes are working again but it's the first time I tried in about 4 days.

T.J. Hooker ties it up 1-1 with 8 seconds left in the 1st period.

You know, the Yotes have a pretty good team, they don't need any additional help from the zebras.

So Flames have actually beaten some good teams this season - Kings x2 and now the Coyotes

Definitely helps having Giordano back tonight and two strong back-to-back outings from Ramo between the pipes.
