From the video posted, it looks to me like he was just adjusting his trajectory, not striding into the hit. That said, yeah, don't leave the bench, moron.

I read that & thought "Wait a minute here: Aren't the Jackets are supposed to be in St. Paul tonight?"

Never heard of Split-Squad games before. Looks like Minny is loading the rink with the youngsters/likely AHL candidates. - I assume that CBJ is doing the same?

Yeah, I was going to amend my previous pre-emptive apology, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

Here's who they are sending to Minny:
Forward: Cam Atkinson, Cody Bass, Michael Chaput, Sean Collins, Blake Comeau, Ryan Craig, Jake Hansen, Ryan Johansen, Mark Letestu, Kerby Rychel, Jack Skille, Trent Vogelhuber.

Defense: Cody Goloubef, Ilari Melart, Ryan Murray, Blake Parlett, Will Weber, James Wisniewski.

Goaltender: Oscar Dansk, Jeremy Smith.

Bad idea to send Wiz. Bad things happen for him in pre-season games in Minnesota.

Also, sorry your AHL guys are going to have to face Melart.

I would love to see all of these young guy's gel together this year. Read a good article in the News Ristolainen showing he might be NHL-ready - Sports - The Buffalo News. This kid looks pretty good. Also read a good story on Myers yesterday. I will love the day they get it together so we can be more positive.
