Speaking of Sunrise, they would probably get more fans out to pre-season games if they didn't charge $20 for parking at the arena (which I believe is more than some of the tickets to watch the game).

Nationwide was probably about 40 - 50% capacity last night. Not too bad for the first pre-season game.


Seems like this Melart kid is going to get every opportunity to make the opening night roster. And Murray rebounded well. Damn he was everywhere later on and scored the OT winner. What was really unbelievable is Umberger got separation on the rush AND managed to connect on a pass.

And it seems like Kobasew REALLY wants a job. He was like a wrecking ball out there. Everywhere you looked - #12.
