In a weird fucked up way, the Leafs driving the 18 wheeler off the cliff in so many different ways under Carlyle while heartbreaking at the time was the best thing to happen to this club since the early 90s.

Calgary’s a wild card team at best now, while the Oilers are well in contention for the Pacific Division lead.
