Okay I'll bite. Why?
Eff the Flames.
/sorry dash
Because I am an idiot and should not be allowed on the internet before 3 cups of coffee.
I cannot even read the scores properly #SAD!
I should have said
Eff the 'Nucks
Caps v. Duck Dynasty is a good game tonight, but we don't win. We NEVER win in San Jose. 1993 was our last regulation time win.
With the Oil playing the Pens tonight and the Flames getting the Jets tomorrow, good chance Calgary's third in the division this time Sunday when the Oilers go up against the Habs presumably avec Carey.
Let's go Penguins!!
GO SHARKS!
You two feeling okay?
Congrats Washington fans on winning the Presidents' Trophy this season. We're on the verge of imploding and losing the division if we keep playing like we have recently.
lol - Spring fever, eloco.
/Sure doesn't look like spring around here with snow on my lawn, though.
Oh don't worry, we're trying to do the same thing.
Let's go Penguins!!
It was 70 degrees here yesterday afternoon. This morning a mix of rain and snow. It's been a weird, damn winter.
Looks like the cold snap may prevent the earliest cherry blossom ever here in DC.
This is kinda funny considering the good hockey they were playing post-deadline despite trading two centres and the plaudits they were winning for making due with what they had down the middle.Bad night for injuries last night (especially for the Bolts):

Hey Ritari. Yeah, we've looked like shit lately. Not sure about the Shattenkirk deal. One thing to add depth but to disrupt the pairings and PP with such a big change. I just don't know. But last year we looked unbeatable going into the playoffs and lost, so who knows anyway. Hockey is basically torture prawn.
On a related note, the Leafs' 4th line is so different with Boyle there. Matt Martin led the team in possession last night. MATT MARTIN!
Martin's got a 1.75 goals against per 60 minutes at 5v5. He's a fine player for his role, just isn't much of a possession player (especially when he's on a line centered by Ben Smith for half the year, which makes that 1.75 GA60 that much more impressive). Seeing him out-possess some of the forward talent Toronto has right now is remarkable.Annnd there is the final nail in the "possession" stats' coffin.

And, briefly, Peter Holland. Not to mention The Goat for the other half.
